Indian Media:Does it shows what we want to watch?

Following the article tile I will go into the general bias that Indian media has to portray that what media should cover and show us.
I will try to focus on general bias that all TV channels and media houses are guilty of. They are all strongly biased against the(Aam Admi) people of Bharat(the real India).

All the channels are biased against the majority of the population (~70%) of India. They never have any news material from this part of country.
They cover fashion shows (not farmer suicides), marriages of celebrities, and what they wear and eat (not the poor who don’t have anything to eat or to wear). They don’t cover where poor people live and their lifestyles.
Indian Media

They ignore the problems of the rural part of country. The poor, the homeless, the rickshaw pullers, the farmers, the labourers, the factory workers, the population which is backbone of country is ignored. (Whom the media should be covering them as much they can do because these people need media) .They don’t have news for 70% of people: the farmers, the labourers, the unemployed junta, the situation of education and health in the rural part of the country, the cut-offs and seats in local colleges (not only cities).

What Indian media cares about ?

If you are not showing news related to certain part of society then will you not call it a bias?

They only care about top 5-10% people: only Bollywood, cricket, rich people, what politicians say about other politicians or the other party; but not about the real problems and their solutions. The debates are only blame games. They only have news from a minor portion of the population and the rest they don’t care about.

Why should they have so many correspondents to report a fashion show, or cricket matches, but not a single correspondent to report the plight of farmers, the issues of unemployment, the crimes in the rural parts of India, or any fucking issue that we have in our country. Why this bias (disproportionate ratio of correspondents covering these things)?

The logic that they broadcast what viewers like to see is a dumb one(Isn’t it like a drag dealer sells drags? there is demand on streets) . What logic is in it to modify your news according to what a viewer likes to see? We have to see what they broadcast, not the other way round, not that we like to see this type of news.

Indian Media

We can’t deny some good things done by Indian media. But, by large they are ineffective in accomplishing anything for which they exist.
It is time to go for alternative media, social media platform to learn but that is also available for urban population.I don’t think that Indian media is something to look after for opinions or great discussions about things related to country. I feel pathetic about the debates on news channels and their standards. They just bully over their news channels controlled by corporate houses and politicians with dreadful standards of news without a good research.

They only care is the TRP of channels and to spread the propaganda of political parties  and politicians .
